This week's update brings an update to my arch angel force.  I once started an all terminators blood angel army to emty my bitz box, but got suckered in an upgrade when the new codex and models got released.

Brother Giron has a few personal markings including the black fist of "the wrenched furry", earned during the cleaning of the so named space hulk

I've made some progress with my arch angels the first tactical terminators are done (quite some time ago) and more recently with my lightning claws and librarian.

The librarian was part of millest challenge, with some other great competitors in the challenge.  I personally love the ultra marine by Chris for its conversion, and the 2 old school models for there painting. Go check it out :)

Arch angel update

Greets one and all,

I did some more work on my entry to millest terminator challenge

I still need to update the base a bit, and want to magnetise the base as I don't want to include this base in my actual army.  Also I still have to drill the bolter barrels and other small things.

Further more I did some work on the terminators of my tactical squad, also need barrels drilled and bases need to be made etc.  But for now I see this as objective reached :)

Last but not least I made some progress on my inq28/Iten bad guys :)

Archangel update 1

Believe it or not, this is post 242, and last Friday I went to a concert of ... Front 242 :)

It was a blast with a great bunch of friends. 

But more to the point, my wife always works with lists to get her work done.  I almost never do lists, I just work on what comes to mind.  But doing it my way in the current jungle of my life isn't working, so the plan is to do a paint and a build week.

This week I'll try to build a tactical terminator unit including a cyclone missile launchers. The captain was done some time ago and had a basic paint job (still need to fix the yellow) All the red dots are mould lines, details to be placed or ...

Also on the list is the terminator for millest challenge or at least his base... Hopefully more details and some results by the end of the week

Wip January

Greetings one and all,

In the past month I've been up to a lot of stuff, an nothing all at once.  I've almost finished my Rouge Trader for ItEn, worked some more on my grav car, and started working on my Archangels army.

The Archangels are the Blood Angels first company and my new 40k project.  Don't worry I'm not blowing off my ItEn stuff (although there is a chance I'll be using other rule sets as well).  As a matter of fact I’ve just joined the Ammobunker forum and it’s filled with cool Inq28 stuff, and I’ve created a pinterest account to gather all the cool idea’s I see on the net.  I’ll make a link on the side bar for that later on.

But back to my Archangels; as a lot of you probably did, I bought a box of dark vengeance.  I was planning on painting what was inside, just the way it was supposed to be.  A rather amities goal for me, not that I thought it was to hard to paint, but not converting all those models; now that’s a challenge.  

And it seems I’ve lost that challenge.  Didn’t get the green I wanted to get, in the way I wanted to get it.  So out with the Dark Angels, but what now with the models…  I found someone that could use the tacticals, leaving me with bikes and terminators.  So this year I’ll gather all my terminators and start painting them.  As it turns out I’ve got quite a few more then I would have guessed :o)

Anyway, here are the first results; 2 apothecarys and 4 assault terminators. They’r not done yet, but there is progress :o)
